Heres Aunt Kate mentioned in the 1938 Merthyr Express Newspaper
at Senghenydd School for St. Davids Day..

----
On 16th September 1950, Aunt Kate and Uncle Roy and Aunt Olive and Uncle Frank got married in Senghenydd as a double wedding..
The bottom photo shows them coming down the Aisle. In the background, over Uncle Roys shoulder is Grandad age 50!

Uncle Roy and Aunt Kate 3.2.2016

It was with great sadness to receive the news from Christine that on thursday 20th October 2016 at around 3pm, Uncle Roy had suddenly passed away from a heart attack in the back garden. The funeral was at 11am on Monday 7th November 2016 at Thornhill Crematorium.
I took Dad and Beryl on a very clear and crisp day. It was a very heartfelt yet moving service. The minister gave a very personal yet humorous depiction about Uncle Roy..
Uncle Roy was a great guy. He had one of the sunniest dispositions in anyone I'd ever met...his happiness and laughter will be missed..
It was with great sadness to hear that Aunt Kate passed away after being in hospital for a couple of weeks, on Friday 13th April 2018...She was the last of Dads family..the funeral was well attended and moving...a fitting tribute to a kind and well thought of lady...
Aunt Kates passing was more than just the loss of my Aunt...it was being witness the the passing of something greater..
Aunt Kate was the last of the her Generation. The last of the original Diamond line..in some ways after putting this family tree together, it feels like with her passing the journey through the ages has now come to an end....
